“Many thanks for all your hard work in organising the P. R. Jazz Quartet and Fabulous All Stars to appear at our fund raising Jazz Cafe at Sandown Park Racecourse. The Quartet played an important part in welcoming our guests at the start of the evening and we heard complimentary remarks from so many people about the choice of music and high quality performance. The performance by the Fabulous All Stars was brilliant and really helped to lift the party mood. The choice of music was just right for this audience and more people danced than at previous functions. Thank you again, and all your fantastic musicians, for putting on such a professional and high class performance for us.”.

Music lessons and teaching resources
Paul Smith has been teaching the oboe, flute, clarinet, saxophone and jazz piano since the mid 80’s. Currently he is working in two schools; The City of London Freemen’s School and Yateley Manor.
Extra curricular activities at these schools include running various clubs including improvisation, and support for the Trinity Aural and the Associated Board’s theory and aural tests.
Paul Smith also runs two jazz bands, an orchestra and three wind bands. For many of these ensembles, this involves arranging music for the various school commitments each term.
More details can be found on the Teaching Page. There are dedicated pages for parents and pupils offering advice on many aspects of music including how to deal with nerves, what is required in the music exams and help with theory of music.
Ensembles include; piano, saxophone, P R Jazz, P S Jazz, Trading in Jazz, The Fabulous All Stars and Classical.
Classical music is particularly suited to the wedding ceremony and features solo oboe, clarinet or saxophone with or without piano accompaniment.
